The Cavite State University (CvSU) - Sugar Palm Research, Information and Trade (SPRINT) Center visited the Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) - College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) Labo, Camarines Norte Campus last July 26-27, 2023.
It was headed by For. Junser P. Magpantay, director, together with Mr. Jhon Laurence B. Herrera, SPRINT Center administrative assistant, Mr. Florencio C. Flores, SPRINT Center farm worker, and Engr. Jose Carlo R. Dizon, an instructor from the College of Engineering and Information Technology - Department of Food and Agricultural Engineering (CEIT-DAFE).
CvSU-SPRINT, headed by For. Magpantay is led by some faculty of the CNSC-CSNR at the proposed site.

Dr. Arden Peejay Ezaki, dean of CANR, Engr. Christine Mae Almendral, CANR faculty, and Engr. Filandro Leao and Arch. Abigail De Vera, CNSC Institutional Planning and Development Office (IPDO) representatives assisted the team.
During the two-day visit, site assessments for potential kaong production areas in the Bicol region were carried out.
Following the site assessment, training on kaong production and processing technologies was proposed for CNSC faculty and staff. The SPRINT Center and CNSC collaboration was also discussed. #SPRINTCenter
