In his message, Dr. Melbourne R. Talactac, Vice President for Research and Extension, thanked the center for conducting the proposal presentation. He also noted how similar activities leverage the freedom given among colleges, campuses, and units to encourage faculty and staff to propose research and facilitate in-house reviews as indicated in the university research manual.
The proposals were evaluated by Dr. Jason D. Braga, a faculty of the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) of the College of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Natural Resources (CAFENR), Dr. Agnes B.
