The continual improvement of its management and processes is an utmost priority of the university to ensure consistency in meeting the stakeholders' needs and enhance their satisfaction. Thus, an annual Quality Management System (QMS) Internal Quality Audit (IQA) is conducted among the university's various colleges, offices, and units. On August 22, 2024, the Sugar Palm Research, Information and Trade (SPRINT Center) underwent its annual QMS-IQA.
The said audit covered the knowledge and technology generation and transfer activities of the center as well as conformance to the university's quality management system as required by ISO 9001:2015

Prof. Bienvenido C. Sarmiento from the College of Engineering and Information Technology served as the QMS Auditor. He facilitated the audit proper, interview, and verification of documents. He also conducted an ocular visit to the center's office and attached facilities. Accompanying Prof. Sarmiento is Mr. Harold M. Rodil from the Office of the Vice President for Planning and Development.
Also present during the said audit were Prof. Edgardo A. Gonzales, SPRINT Center Director, and the office and field personnel of the center.
